Mods, tymar, straight pipe, gut epbv


2006 F350 dually 6.0 auto (bought about a month ago)
94,000 miles
Mods, NONE, will do turbo back & cat delete, mabey EGR delete but nothing else.

Mods galore.

2006 6.0L PSD C.C. 4x4 Long Bed Auto tranny
65,000 miles so far. Has had left bank injectors replaced @ 20,*** miles
Mods - P.O. had done some modifications (some type of programmer) that was removed, turbo back exhaust is still in place other than that she's stock.

I have a 2004 F250 6.0
87,000 miles
Cold air intake, 4" MBRP turbo back straight pipe
EGT, Trans, and Boost gages

Just blew my 1st set of head gaskets, I've had 2 turbos, 2 EGR valves.
Ford is replacing the heads and gaskets. Mabey I'll get it back sometime this centry. This is the last Ford I'll ever own

lol Tex do you have a tuner? or are you saying you blew 2 turbos and your head on stock settings?

Stock settings brother. No tunner. Some people have no problems and some do like me.:dunno W/the small amount of mods that I have, I can't keep my foot out of the floor. This is just a smart a$$ remark but I was under the impresion that a cold air intake put colder air into the engine and a bigger exhaust makes it breath better.LOL I can't say I don't race my truck. I beat a Dodge w/cummins and Ford 7.3 both w/chips and took them by 2 links. Mabey that is why I haven't bought a tunner yet.

I have a F550 with the 6.0 that is available for my use. It's got 83k on it and is on it's second motor, third turbo. Noone trusts it at the company. It's been brought back on the hook one too many times. My '97 f450 is down on power compared to the 6.0, but it does get home about as slow as my IDI, but it does make it home.

The 6.0 don't really seem to be very dependable. I was going to leave California on the 20th of Dec. and now I have to wait till after the first of the year. I hope it makes the trip back to Texas.

Mods: Where do I start? SCT, exhaust, EGR delete are the biggest things....

Pulls like a mule and doesn't even breathe hard....
