I've been telling my wife now for the past few months that I need to find a good name for my truck. She just rolls her eyes and says, "Why?" I tell her that it just needs a name! Well yesterday my 4 year old grand daughter was telling my daughter about my truck can drag monsters. I was only half listening when my daughter got my attention. This 4 year old came up with a very elabate story. When I asked her what the name of my truck was, she replied quite simply "Dragon."

My truck is now and forever "Dragon", cuz it can drag monsters!

I call my truck the U.S.S. Nimitz because she has the turning radius of an aircraft carrier (although I should note that a 10-pax stretch is worse by an order of magnitude  OTOH, I didn't know this when I first named my truck) and because I have a thing for boats and love being on the water...and "Enterprise" was already taken :D

My mom calls my truck "Monstro" because she thinks it's ridiculously oversized and has the attitude to match LOL

My trucks name is tow rig or ferd. My toyota's name is toyota or wheeler. Why? Because that's what they are and naming rigs went out in the 80's with 3 cans of aqua net hair and leopard print spandex under your torn levi's.... LOL

Truck names can change with my mood.:rotflmao

The 85 has earned the name FRED. Because that was the name in place of the F250 badges.

The 90 is the brick. Because it looks like one. But on other days it can be called Rust Bucket or POS. :D

The Super Duty is The Duty. It dose its job when needed. Lately every day.

the '85...ARS Sulaco. ARS-Fleet Salvage Ship. "Sulaco" is from Aliens 2

The 86 was named that cause I couldn't come up with a name ( friends had named her the beast) I didn't think she was a beast so that name only flew with certain people, like 2

I never named the truck, but 22 years ago the kids were very young and somehow they started calling it "new truck bye-bye". I think when they first said it, we were waving "bye" to someone -- somehow it stuck.

Later, I heard them talking in the back seat about mom being mad cause daddy is always breaking the "speed lemon" (aka the "speed limit"). That phrase has stuck around too. My daughter-in-law probably thought we all had a speech impediment before we told her the story...LOL
