Took my truck in (towed actually) to the dealer 2weeks ago. High pressure hose burst and stopped me in mytracks.......Got the truck back and everything 'was' good until i went to the mountains last weekend. Stopped at the last fuel station before making the climb with RV in tow. I noticed a steady stream of oil coming from the rear of the pan. Headed home and using 3 quarts of oil in 85mi..........I see that one of the fittings thread'd to the pump housing is leaking with a vengence.....This was dealer installed with the new hoses.....On the receipt/invoice (from the dealer) it stated 'fitting loose and installed with lock-tite, should be OK'......The previous fitting's didn't leak. How the hell can a new one be loose...?????.....Any ideas here.
BTW....its back in their hands to repair the 'loose fitting'........
