Talked to radiator shop. Bad news radiator is shot. It figures since it is the original. Now I'm in need of a radiator. I've been quoted $350-450 for a replacement. I have checked parts stores and they all seem to have plastic tanks. Anyone got a better idea on where to get a cheaper all metal type?

I finally bought new radiator. I have truck back together and am ready to put antifreeze in. I bought 4 glns of FleetCharge from NAPA. As I began to pour it I noticed it is orange and stopped. Does it matter if it's orange or green?

Fleet Charge from Napa should be a pinkish color, go ahead it will not hurt if its a different color as long was it is low sulficate mixture and has DCA in the mixture. Just make sure that before adding the good stuff to fill and flush three or four times with cascade dishwasher soap (low suds formula) and operate to normal operating temp and then flush. You should be able to locate an aluminium radiator from O'Reilly's for I believe $348.00.
