I got my project up and on the road but it has quite a stumble in it. It is most apparent after it gets warm. It acts as if the IDM is being shut off momentarily and in high gear it is pretty rough. I had my neighbor's scanner and pulled a 603 code while it was running.

"0603 PCED Powertrain Control Module KAM error No historical faults output during a KOEO test Open PCM pin, disconnected B+, faulty PCM"

If anyone has any input contrary to this I will be more than happy to listen.

Thanks, Janos

what kind of scanner did you use?you have to use a good scanner not one of those cheapy autozone specials.

have you run a buzz test or a contribution test on it?can you explain the issue a little more?

I have a Snap On Brick. It goes up to 1998 domestic. I did run a buzz test and it gave another something but I didn't understand what it was. I believe this is what it was.

"0275 PCED Cylinder 5 contribution/balance fault Cylinder not contributing during CCT test Power cylinder, valve train or injector problem, circuit"

you have a problem with cylinder 5.could be low compression, leak at the valves, injector problem or wiring problem.

the other code you got comes up when the battery is disconnected or the pcm fuse is pulled.

When I put the injectors in #3 & #5 I was kinda hoping that they would work. I plan on getting a complete set later. But for now I just need to get the stumble out. What did you say about the PCM fuse?

code 603 comes up anytime the battery is disconnected or the fuse for the pcm has been removed or blown.IIRC you just had the engine out of the truck so ignore that code.the stumble will not go away untill the injectors have been replaced.

Are you sure your UVCH harness is good on that side, since 3-5 are there. Why did you have to change the injectors there? A bad connection or hi resistance will cause a stumble problem.

I did replace the injectors on 3 and 5, I was unsure of the quality of the parts when I got them since they were from a salvage yard. I will get the #5 replaced and see what that does.
