Gunson Diesel Injector Pulse pickup.

Thought I pass this along . I have the Gunson Diesel Injector Pulse pickup, purchased new off ebay. It shipped with what looks like a 4mm piezo pickup and it didn't work very well for the IDI fuel line. I ordered a Tiny Tack 1/4" transducer from L&J Diesel Service, Inc. and it worked great with my Innova 5568 timing light. RPM's and advance all read correctly .

Mine came with a 6mm. I'll see if I can check the P/N on the box - wonder if that made a difference.

I saw several on ebay with part No# 77089, the ebay sale I purchased didn't show a part No#. I just checked the box it came in and it is showing 77089, but the pick would not completely go around the original or new injector lines. I had about a 1/8" gap when fully tightened. The 1/4" fit perfect..
