Alright guys, here's a deal for someone...
I have a 1991 F350 2wd ext cab
It has 6 brand new tires!
The truck is a decent truck with a new radiator, new exhaust, new glowplugs, new rpm sender, new fuel tank, and lots of other new parts. It ran and drove great until the E40D bit the dust. It's an automatic truck that I had the E4OD go out of, but it comes with a low mileage (16k) ford rebuilt E40D. I got it about 75 percent installed and got sick of messing with it (feel free to call for details).
I bought the transmission from a guy who just thought it was a clean original (he bought the van it was in for the engine), but the crossmember (still attached to the trans) had a blue reman sticker on it. I finally found out the dealership it had been installed at and they are the one's who gave me the mileage documentation on it (just verbal). I put a new filter kit in it and went through the fluid and found absolutely NO debris or burn fluid smell. I believe the dealership to be correct in their mileage claim (why would they lie???), but of course I can't back it up with reciepts. The only problem is this trans is from a 1994 model (elec speedo), and my truck is a 1991 (manual speedo). All you would have to do is install this E40D and either figure out a way to drive your speedo... or just use a gps. It will still operate and shift just fine. I am sure it wouldn't be hard to figure out the speedo problem (never looked into it, was just going to use a GPS).
I also have a COMPLETE zf5 swap ready to install. It comes with both a good DMF setup, and the desirable SMF setup (has around 30K miles on SMF setup). This conversion should be COMPLETE in every detail except the driveshaft which you will have to have shortened/lengthened or get one from a zf5 truck.
It will also come with a extra zf5 trans minus shifter (shifter was broken).
Both transmissions are in good shape and shifted well.
I am selling all these parts as I have no time to work on my project, and I bought my 1994 IDI crewcab 4x4 zf5 truck last year so I have no need for two.
Now for the important part... pricing!
1. If you want the whole package (truck and everthing else listed) I will take 2600.00 for everything listed (I also have extra parts not listed that will go as well)
2. If you just want the zf5 conversion (with the SMF) I will take $750.00
3. If you want the complete conversion without the SMF I will take $625.00
4. If you want the zf5 only (one with broken shifter) I will take $300.00
In my opinion if you took all the good parts off of the truck you could make almost all your money back and have lots of valuable parts for your own build.
I am firm on my prices, please no lowballers. I don't want to part out, if you want to I am sure you will make money easily. I will entertain trades (partial or full) of motorcycles (ironheads, v-twins, sportbikes, running or not).
If you have any questions you can call me, my name is Cole and my number is 573-682-4699
Thanks guys, have a great day.
