That was interesting, looking at the inside of the rad I'm purty sure the overheating issue is not turbo.
But once I have the cooling fixed we will skin that cat next:frustrate

Well the old school radiator shop wants $1350 to recore it stock and $2400 for a dimple core recore or $750 for a tin no name unit....
What's the go to today?

I ended up getting a Champion 3-Core aluminum radiator because I couldn't afford to get my stock one re-cored.
This was in April 2021, and so far it has held up to our towing our 36ft, 9000lb, travel trailer from Mankato Minnesota to Box Elder South Dakota with no problems. I can't remember the exact price but it was over $300.

And seems like the tech part escaped the thread.
I bought some caustic from radio free Americans....
Rovered the rad by flowing it thru, then neutralized it with soda.
Fixed it right up.
Now let's see if this new r/d I.P. makes it sweat.
