With the 4" lift i have introduced a lot of frame noise. I believe it to be from the rivets that hold our frames together. I was reading an article last night that a guy took a IFS and made it a solid axle. In this article he explained exactly how the dana 50 ifs works and the issues with it flexing the way it does causing the rivets to "pop" and flex. Now I am NOT interested in making my ifs a solid axle. My actual question is can the frames be welded together such as the engine cross member be welded to the frame? Does the frame need the flex in the rivets? I don't want to weld everything together then it put stress on something else and break it. Thanks
