So some of you may have seen my many posts on my truck so far.
First: The glow plug controller died in my truck. I replaced it.
Second: I thought the GPC died again, but in fact after replacing the GPC + all 8 glow plugs (motocrafts) earlier this month, it turned out my ground cable for my GPC had fallen out of a connector along it's path and arched against stuff and melted. So I fixed this and life was all good.
Until now. My GPC is acting up again. I've only had this GPC and the glow plugs for about 2 or 3 weeks, and now when I turn the key over my WTS light stays on for random times. This morning it went like this:
Turn key, light goes out immediately. Turn key off/on again and it stays on for about 2 seconds and goes out. Turn key off/on again and it stays on for it's full regular time (about 15 seconds or something).
I'm really frustrated and have no idea where to start trying to solve this problem. Has anyone ever had a similar issue? Is my GPC dead _again_?
