gauges quit need help

I started my '97 auto this morning fine. All gauges worked well for about 10-20 seconds.Then, they all quit at the same time. Tac, oil pressure, engine temp and volt meter now not working. Could it be a connection, but where and is their a common well know cause for this.

I would start with the fuse box and look at em all

Fuse it was, #12. Interesting the Owner's Manual and the Service Manual do not list a fuse for dash gauges. I took a look at the schematic and the gauges are on the same fuse as the AIR BAG, go figure. #12 is labeled Air Bag but runs your gauges and warning lights on the dash. I supose DC made a few bucks off folks who just took it to the dealer - nice.

Thanks for taking the time to help me with this new toy. Runs sweet. Should have KDP kit, #8 plate, and DSS for the front end this week.
