Been wrenching on old yeller this weekend and check out both fuel tanks pick up and they were both great
next was checking over fuel lines and found that they hacked the lines off the switching valve and went direct to the front tank. Done some thinking and talked to some local ford guys and was told there was an old recall for the valves that was basically due to the fact you could be running off one tank and it could return to the other tank overfilling it, so I think this was their northern redneck fix
. The valve sound like it is actuating fine only problem is I need a diagram how to plumb the lines also the lines are plastic do I need to replace them all or is there a way to splice them reliably? Anyone heard of the overfilling issue? I have asked allot of questions here in just a short time and I have always been given great advice!!! Many thanks to all the knowladgeable people here willing to share
