Fuel problem

Have a 92 7.3 idi and when I drive it and get into higher rpms it acts like it's starving for fuel. So I changed my fuel filter and still the same thing. What could it be?

Ya that's the one it's under alt. it's time for and up grade to the e pump from gen lighting. It will even save you ad hours worth of cranking to start it after the change.

I just changed that thing about 2 months ago.
It still starts right up
Just hi rpm it starves

Bad again or maybe ip is plugged up use a dose of ATF next
fill up.

What is hi RPM?

Does it stumble and miss?

IP is governed at 3300 RPM.

I have no tach and I'm goin off my ear
But 4th gear and up when I really start rollin and need hi fuel out put it's like it sounds almost as if I'd be on empty

Take out or fuel de fuel hits at 70mph wot in 4th so if u have 4:10 gears and it misses before that you have a problem lol I have no tach either. Many probley don't.

I got 4:56 gears
Wot in 4th I can do about 60 maybe a Lil more but in 4th around 50 it starts actin up

So I changed the lift pump amd still have the same problem
Could it be my ip or a sending unit in my tank?

The tank would be my last thought. I would think its the ip. But if ur doin the work yourself I would drop the tank and check a lil clean wouldn't hurt either way. But if times an issue I would see if it does the same thing on both tanks if so I would say its the ip for sure.

can you describe what it does, and at what rpm? Do you know if your filter light works?

I can't tell an exact rpm but once I get around 35 mph now in 3rd it acts like it just runs out of fuel and I wanna try my rear tank but I spent all my money to fill up my front tank. It starts and idles fine, starts right up, and in 1st and 2nd gear I can redline that thing amd it don't starve. And yes my fuel filter light works and it was comin on before I changed my fuel filter, nOw it doesn't come on. I really need to get this thing running since it's my everyday vehicle.
