fuel line size

my son is replacing fuel lines on the 89 and i have the 3/16 hose for the injectors,

can someone tell me the size for the hose that goes from the IP to the hardline on the drivers side ?
it's bigger than 3/16

Thats a 3/8 inch rubber line from the injection pump return off the top to the steel line that runs down the drivers side of the intake manifold.

I just received early style injector line plastic things and I have late model style on my truck will they still work?

For anyone searching this yes it does work they're just different sized lines.
