What is the size of the return line fuel hose? I need to pick some up on my way home tonight and forgot to bring my sample with me. I was thinking bout getting enough clear line to do my entire return system. Anyone see a problem with this???

I was told that what they have, is made for diesel fuel. They said thats according to the tech data they have on it, they also said that over time with the use of some additives will cause them to fail. I only thing i run throught mine is a quart per tank of 2 stroke oil from wallyword.

Watch out... IIRC it's actually measured in MM and I think it was 10MM. Another thing to keep in mind and I'm not sure if I'm correct in this but I believe that both the return and supply fuel lines are the same size. But the return and supply fittings at both the pickup coming out of the tank and at the selector valve on the frame rail are different sizes. The return fittings are 5/16" and the supply fittings are 3/8" where the fittings go on the selector valve or fuel pickup nipples but as I said IIRC the fuel line nipples on the fittings are the same size.
I wonder which size it is to be exact. I guess right now I am only looking to replace the lines from the fuel filter, in between the injectors and the line of the top of the ip. Right now i have a leak on the line off the top of the ip, when its running you can see the fuel almost seep through the line, and then i think its getting blown back by the fan causing it run down onto my starter and bell housing, in 5 mins it can leave a square foot puddle on the ground right under my oil pan.
Correct, and 5/16 from the manifold back to the tank.
If you want a fuel rated clear, ( or rather semi clear so you can see bubbles) go by a large independent motorcycle shop and they should have this real high dollar multi fuel rated semi clear fuel hose that will last a good long time, The stuff is kind of a bluish colour if memory serves me.
