I think only IDI's have the 'turbo diesel' on the tailgate. But im not 100% on that. I don't see any rust, therefore imo this truck should be entered into truck shows! :hail

BTW nice lookin dog, german shepherd?

curious why you wouldnt convert it to 4wd? a divorced mount transfer case, and the frt axle with leaf springs would be a weekend job and since you know the history of the truck, a worthy investment.

DON"T SELL too nice!!!!!

Look into a 4x conversion with a divorced tcase and solid front axle!

NOT super hard, not a huge investment and you are starting with a premium truck already!

So needed items!

Divorced NP 205 about $250-$350

Solid D60 Front axle 12-1500

Three drive shafts minimum...not sure as you have a longer wheel base so uncertain

IMHO best bet would be a newer SD coil sprung front axle and associated parts radius arms and brackets!
Matching rear diff to go with front and 5 new wheels and METRIC for new axles!

Coil front end would ride eloquently!

This is just my suggestion and one I hope you take seriously, as you have a really really nice truck to start with.

Al

OH btw, doing this swap...has been done and documented before!

That is an awsome Idea, 05-up 4wd swap. That would be the perfect truck to do that to. Hmmmm

Really a nice looking rig for the asking price. With a Moose junior and new injecters its ready to run anywhere. As I recall you have Diesel Tune time the engine for you also. So its a clean rig waiting for a new owner. I hope you can find another turbo idi in as fine a shape 4x4 like you want. I suppose if you had all the parts to make it a 4x4 Diesel Tune might do the work for you. Then you keep a great looking rig and have the 4x4 too.
