I've once again decided to put this up for sale. The last time I backed out of selling because I ended up needing to drive it again. But I just don't see any reason in holding onto it anymore.

1983 F250 Explorer, 4x2, NP-435, 6.9L, Dana 70 rear axle. This truck got very good mileage, it bounced around 19-21mpg all the time. The engine has great power and didn't use oil more than expected from an older 6.9. The body is good for a midwest truck, bed has some holes in it, but its solid and the cab is very solid. Paint is lacking, and is the original red and white with the Explorer stripe.
I installed a ton of new parts into this truck 3-4 years ago.
I'll try to list most of them here.
Batteries, battery cables, alternator, voltage regulator, starter, vacuum pump, water pump, belts, hoses, valve cover gaskets, 7.3 rocker arms, push rods, injectors (whole set), fuel return lines, Beru GP's, fuel tank valve, fuel tank switch, ignition switch, brakes (front and rear), brake master and booster, clutch master and slave, whole new set of wheel studs and lugs (Almost $250 here alone!), tires (whole set), rear axle bearings and seals, universal joints, full bedliner (the plastic insert kind). I stopped keeping track of what i was investing at $1200, and that doesn't include the $750 that I originally gave for the truck.
Is a great truck if you're looking for a diesel and something that can haul and tow large loads.

Asking $1300

Wow.... I would love a truck like this if it were 4x4. Sounds like our 83 150......

I have 3 complete Dana 50 TTB front axles, I'd work out something with someone that wanted an axle to go with it and do the conversion.
Just thought I'd put it up and see if there were any takers.
To be honest the only reason why I'm listing it up for sale is that I have several trucks here and I haven't actually driven this one in probably 2 years. Just started it and moved it around the property.

I'm south of Lincoln NE. I'll take some pics tomorrow. I can take a video as well if you want.

Still for sale. Best offer. I need the money for school bills. Keep in mind though if you low ball me I'll sell something else because I have enough IDI's to warrant keeping this one for parts. But I don't want to do that to this nice ol truck if I can find a good home for her.

No longer for sale. For one I'm done dealing with tire kickers wasting my time. Second I decided its worth more to me in pars than selling it.
