Im not sure what you mean my doing the wiring... are you talking like switching harnesses? or reusing your old one? maybe rewiring with relays to boost the brightness?

you shouldnt have to switch pins in your headlights as you are using your old wiring, just make sure you use the old bulbs *9004* instead of trying to use the *9007 i believe* from the newer truck. i have a couple headlight wiring mods saved on my home computer, ill shoot my wife a text and have her Email me the links from my home computer and post them for you. I have helped a couple guys update their brick noses to the 92-96 style and we never messed with and pins or anything of the sort. At least not while i was present. Lights fit into the new sockets fine (both guys didnt use stock style, they went with euro style stuff off Ebay, so maybe with stock style you have to, let me get those links ill post when she gets them emailed maybe then can shed some light for you

I just did this swap....

having the light socket face you (as if bulb was in your face) and the pigtail or wiring run away from you curved portion of plug to bottom flat with funny little center tab on top.... for OBS 9007 lights = Green / Black / Red...... is RED is Low beam, GREEN is High beam...

I took the little RED plastic plug out of the headlight socket, then used a fine pick to press down between the tabs and the wire terminal, once all terminals released, I withdrew the wires and soft rubber seal on the back of the plug out, re arranged the wire positions according to what I have posted above, inserted the wires, pressed in soft rubber seal, installed red plastic part and tested lights...worked perfectly!

Hope this helps you out. Any questions feel free to ask...can get pics if need be!

looked over the couple wiring bookmarks i have, dont think they will help you. its all about upgrading the wires, and adding relays to save your headlight switch from burning out.

Was just searching around on fullsizebronco and couldnt find any information on what wires to switch... seems all the swaps over there left that out, or went aftermarket and didnt have problems perhaps. Ill keep digging for you, im shut down at work here waiting on coal bucket to move some more dirt, if someone else cant chime in and help ya out i will sooner or later find the answer!

ok after much digging i FINALLY found a thread that goes into detail about the wiring changes

http://fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43266

its about... 5/8s down the page, goes into all the wiring changes he did, with pictures! Since i didnt deal with this in the past im assuming either my buddys half arsed their headlights, or the after market housings are maybe different? heck if i know, but that thread should answer all your problems, as well as provide you exactly what you will need with pictures

Gone for weekend...not at truck, will check how I wired that all in when I get back.

I had pigtails from the OBS clip...and wired those pigtails (crimped) into my existing Brick nose harness.

I would much prefer a diesel harness from an OBS for my conversion when going to diesel! However.....my gasser brick nose or the diesel one will suffice..if need be!

I to wanted a diesel wiring setup... but i figured it was just as easy to disable all the wires for gasser sensors and remove them at my leaisure.

OT tho, that write covers everything, so i assume its mentioned, if not in picture then in text for the side lights. Heading to bed now 4am comes early, but ill see if i cant locate the information on them when i get some downtime waiting on permits tomorrow
