I have an 87 f-250 reg. cab 4x4 6.9 with auto tranny. I need to buy a new front rotor for it and do not know if I have the D44HD or D50, How do I tell?
Did all the diesels come with the D50?
Thanks

I would say a Dana 44HD as well. It is my understanding that you didnt get a Dana 50 in a F-250 unless you ordered like the snow plow package or something, then they would throw in the Dana 50. Otherwise its more than likely a Dana 44HD.

Super cabs also had D50's most of the time. If the lockout is a lot smaller than the center hole in the rim, it is a D44. A D50 is about the same size as the rim hole. The D50 has the same lockouts and bearings as a D60.
