Forum E-mail Question

I was informed tonight that my e-mail address in my profile is unavaible & says Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails. If you still wish to send an email to this user, please contact the administrator and they may be able to help.

Why is that when I have this box checked in my profile ou can allow other members to send you email messages. Receive Email from Other Members

I've also tried checking & unchecking the V card box to see if this changes things, but it does not & my e-mail is still private instead of public.

From what I can tell, I've checked the correct box to allow my e-mail address to be public & it's not, what else can I do so it showes up instead of the above message????????

Basically we have an overide on that feature that applies across the board. We don't want our members getting spam as a result of our system. I hope this isn't a problem, this is the way most forums operate. Basically we don't want to share any of your private information.
