Yes.. You will need to trim the frame on the passenger side to clear the exhaust manifold. See Genlightening for details. He installed a 7.3 in his chevy dually crewcab....

$750. I have 4 to choose from. I will go out and dig around tomorrow to ensure they are all intact.

Thanks, but i am pretty much talked into this 7.3 swap.
I have had atleast as many 6.2-6.5 burbs as Ive had idi fords (6), and I have had the heads off of one of the fords. I have had the heads off of all of the chevys, and one of them multiple times.

Ah ok. Well ive got a nice turbo that would work for ya if you need one. It is coming off of my multifuel LDS engine. They aren't overly big but very loud whistlers.

Sounds like a fun project ;Sweet I can't really help, but what do you have in mind for a t-case? Might get a little tricky getting one to mount up to the Ford trans yet drop out on the passenger side :dunno Come to think of it you might could get away with using a 6.2 diesel core support and radiator to save a bit of cash and/or time fabricating.

If you do the swap please take some pics I'd love to see it all come together :sly

SM465 had chevy and ford 205s behind them. Just use the ford bellhousing adapter and the 465 behind it. 208 or 241 behind it will work as well.

Black - Check the montana craigslist around bozeman for a turbo 400 with 203 setup. That would work well and bolt to a 465. I think it was $300 for the whole setup. It was a P/T 203

my plan is to use the 465/205 in the burb now. If that falls through for some reason, it will be t-19/1356 and a 78-9 ford front diff.

The 465/205 is a great combo-I'd probably run that over anything out there. I guess I didn't realize you could put one behind an IDI.
