Flushing and refilling coolant

Trying to get an idea on the health/what needs to be done to the cooling system on this truck.

6 gallons drained out so i put 6 gallons of distilled water in and ran it to temp and more clear but still very green stuff came out

i opened the rad petcock and took out both block drains so 2 gallons was hiding somewhere.

figured i would just flush it and pulled the heater hose closest to the passenger side and hooked a hose up to that for a half hour or so tell it ran clear.

filled it up with distilled water to get the tap water out and ran it to temp and this is what it looked like.

just about to go drain the last batch of distilled out and refill it. its almost 1AM but i gotta be running to help people move tomorrow ;p

Haha try doing it overnight when it's 24F out. Lol
Well I guess it wouldn't have been overnight if it wasn't only 24F out.

Ah, the curse of owning a pickup. I cured that though, the moment someone is moving my trucks aren't running. All of them. People get the hint and don't bother me anymore.

Well what ever it was that's been in it the past 10 years I would guess, its my girlfriends family so I don't mind plus its an excuse to have to drive the truck

It looks like pure anti freeze and it looks pretty healthy....
