Fluid Damper question

I have tried to get an answer from www.fluidampr.com with no real success. I am curious if anyone has any thoughts on whether you can use a early 7.3 PSD damnper on our IDI engines?

When my brother had his 95 I remember looking at the balancer and there was something about it that made me think there was no way it could work, but I dont remember what it was for sure. I think the crank hub is bigger on the PSD. The other thing is the the internal balance, I would think that a completly different engine like the PSD would balance out different.
