I am going sometime tomorrow or Saturday to pic up a 12ft flatbed for my 89
f250. Im thinking about cutting it down to 9.5ft. Im also going to have to weld up a barrier in the front of the bed to protect the cab and to mount my lights and winch.
I was wondering if anybody is running a flatbed longer then the normal 8ft on a stock and if they would be willing to post pictures.
I would also like to see pictures of other flatbeds to help with coming up with a design for the hitch and the front barrier.
Any suggestions and pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Will

Reminds me of the time I had problem with the lights on my truck and we were pulling an empty 5x8 flatbed behind a CC DRW (The Enterprise) it looked like a skateboard back there, and you could not see the trailer...... could only see the very end with the tailgate down......
So we loaded it onto the center of the trailer and he throws this huge webbing strap over it to secure it....I just thought it was funny.
