Fixing slow fuel filling

I an about to pull my bed to swap to a single wheel setup. I would really like to fix the painfully slow fill ups at the pump while it is off. I have read some of the posts but nothing seems to work really well. Do I just pull the rollover valves, install bigger grommets and bigger vent hose? Do i need to modify the filler neck? It seems like the results from that are suspect at best. Also is there anything else I should do while the bed is off? The frame was painted when the new fuel tank was put in. Thanx in advance

If you have the time before the bed comes off try opening up the vent in the fill neck. The fuel flows down into the tank thru the center hole that has a hose connected to the end of it. At the top of the hose you will see a small opening near the edge of the outside of the neck. Use a screwdriver to open that up.. Thats the opening where all the air escapes from the filling of the tanks.. Not a good idea in any appplication..
