if your hydro is playing catch up with you, it's time to replace it.
nice thing about a hydro is the unit will give you plenty of warning before it completely fails.

only does it if i make a panic stop.other than that the brakes work perfect.been like this since the day i bought the truck.

that's the indicator the pressure accumulator has failed. do you have any boosting assistance when the motor is shut off? hydro or not, DOT requirements is the same... three pumps on be pedal with motor not running and you're supposed to have boost on all three pumps.

You can see what my truck feels like when we meet up. I know the accumulator is good because I do have the 3 assisted pedal strokes when the motor is off.

might have to keep my spare then.didnt want to have to keep carting stuff around with me everywhere i go.oh well.

well just got to see this truck in person.it was worth every dime he payed for it,he stole it ;Sweet .didnt drive it but did get to feel the brakes.they feel real good.i dont know what happened with the truck i did the hydro conversion on :confused: .the brakes on my 450 act just like his except i have the to the floor on a panic stop issue :dunno .he left here about 5 minutes ago so he should be home in about 1/2 hour or so.im sure he will chime in again as he did leave a little heavier than when he showed up :D;Sweet

I did indeed leave a little heavier than when I arrive. I left + one tailgate and 2 good tires.

I stopped by wallyworld on the way home and picked up some diesel service additive. They had two kinds there, one said anti-gel, the other didn't, they were otherwise identical.

no problem.rather give it away than toss it in a junk car.did you get the power service in the white bottle?we have some here and i didnt even think to show you what it looked like.
