Filter Socks & 6637 Mod

Im working on my 46637 filter mod, yea the wix version. I have removed my washer bottle and am trying to get everything all fitted. I started wondering about sometime relocating my drivers battery to the passenger side, then enclosing the filter into the front corner, would this give any more effect on the cold air portion or not? Then I got to thinking about water, and the filter. Are there any socks available for covering these filters to help with water?
