Couldn't get the LED on my brand new Gunson to flash. Spent hours cleaning off the injector line and adjusting clamps and starting the truck and readjusting the clamps and recleaning the injector line. :frustrate Finally got frustrated enough to crack open the case on the brand new Gunson and a friggin wire was broken off the pad! Resoldered it and it works fine now but I'm mighty peeved.

IMO the strain relief was tied with way too little slack on the end. Feels as if any strain would still transfer to the solder joints.

Hopefully this helps someone in the future if their unit ever stops working or doesn't work out of the box.

I had a similar issue with my brand new timing light for my DTI3300, one of the wires was pulled and got impaled by a piece of wire in solder on the board. Pulled it free and insulated it and it worked just fine.
Just shows quality control is going down
