There are two spring that tie the bracket to the engine: the top spring that connects the bracket to the throttle assembly and the bottom springs. What do the bottom springs connect to? I'm about to finish but can't remember where they go?

If I rememeber correctly I hooked 1 spring to my throttle return and if you have a C6 trana the other spring goes to the transmission kickdown rod that hookes to the throttle.I hink I had mine hooked to the little ball that the kickdown rod snaps onto. Hope this helps. Mr Bill

That's kinda what I thought. My kickdown rod requires an e-clip to secure it to the idle bracket. connect the spring to that bit that ties with the kickdown rod?
