Im looking at a set of factory alcoa rims with ok tires tires on it. the guy wants $325 for them all. Is this an ok price or what, im not sure the going rate for them.

I just bought a set yesterday for $200.00 with no center caps but they are very clean. 
They are getting extremely hard to find. I would give him $300 cash if they are in good shape. Took me over 6 months to find a set where I live.

He wont budge on them so I gues $300 there are tires on them but I dunno the condition, he says it includes the center caps but one may need replaced. He also said its from a pre 98 truck.

Gawd I'm jealous...can't find em around here...I know someone that had a full set with damn near new Powerkings...and the lil ******* GAVE them away!

My truck had the stock Alcoa's on it with some Michelin LTX (or some such) tires. I sold them for $300 about six months ago with no center caps.
The rims were in as close to perfect condition as you could get for being on a truck for 20 years, though.

What can I do to make sure there not the metric bolt pattern before I buy them?

Without test fitting them....
Oh and what lug nuts will be needed? I am assuming the standard steel rim lug nuts are not the right ones?

To measure the lug pattern without mounting them on the truck. Get a tape measure and measure from the center of the lug hole on one side, directly across the hub opening in the wheel to the center of the lug hole on the opposite side. The measurement should be exactly 6.5". If it is, you have the right rims for your truck.
For the stock and most aftermarket center caps, you use the stock lug nuts. If you use the Alcoa center caps, you will need to use the Alcoa lugs and screw-on chrome caps for the lugs -- This is an expensive way to go.
