That black oil tells me the engine was test run so they knew it was worthy of the uhaul rental people that drive the trucks into the ground. But pulling the pan is a great idea. I'm betting this engine has an oil pan gasket on it too.

I'm saving images and will likely print them off too.
This is a great stand for under bench or in shop storage so as to keep it low...won't fall over so easy, add on some HD casters and yer golden for mobility!

Good Morning Ya'll.
Took some real nice (better pics) in daylight, had to change a couple of measurements, then OB kept uploadind the wrong ones, scraped the whole thing and did it all over again after I had it in the garage, notice all the mud is gone on the floor 
. Engine and stand only weighs 500 lbs according to the ship weight. Had come nice pics hanging off the tractor.

Isn't that quite light for what the weight should be?
Or do the accessories and flywheel really add that much?

They are supposed to drain all fluids before shipping. It is illegal/ expensive to ship fuels/oils or other flammables. They probably rum em and drain out most of the oil. Heck, you cant even send perfume via usps anymore.

No flywheel/flexplate, alternator and mount, Fan, A/C and mount, Soup Bowl, Vacuum pump, Power steering pump. The shipping invoice says 500 lbs, guess ya gotta believe it.

If it weighed more UPS sure would have charged more for shipping thats a known fact. Still a great deal on that engine with free shipping. 8 years ago I would have bought all they had and resold them as others needed for a small profit. Even if I doubled my money I could have given any one buying a terrific deal. The $1300.00 and free shipping was a gift... You that got these made out big time on these. Enjoy the gift.
