Well, calling all transmission masters. My trans started to slip real bad in drive. And I checked:
Fluid levels.
fusses and connections.
removed the electronic connection, and applied power to all solenoids, and grounded the forward clutch solenoid, lock up, line pressure, and 1st gear.
The tranny worked fine (but of course would not shift cause everything else is disconnected, and I have it wire locked in 1st).
This would indicate that, the tranny is fine, but something amiss is wrong with the electronics someplace. How would one test the computer box on my 1990 F250 7.3 (ED04), or does anyone else have another suggestion and/or trouble shooting tech.
