E4OD to 5 speed swap on a 97 F350

Instead of putting an auto back in my truck im looking at buying a complete truck with a manual trans in it.. so my question is what all is involved with swapping out my E4OD For a 5 speed that came in the 97s? not sure on the exact trans but i know the truck is a 97.

I did the swap on my 94, I would suggest getting yourself a donor truck for the interior pieces. (steering column parts, clutch pedal assembly, shifter, shifter boot) the cross member is diff too, you'll need master and slave cylinders for the clutch. transfer case is the same although the shift linkage is diff. your rear drive shaft will need to be 2 inches longer and the front two shorter. Those are easy to get from a wrecker although I got mine machined for 200 bucks. It sounds like alot but with a donor truck its really easy, everything bolts up nice.

If you don't mind a pita, then I have a ZF5 out of a 88 F-superduty, what's wrong with the E4OD anyway?
