I can safely drive 600 miles on the rear 38 gallon tank. Now that is empty w/o hauling anything.
Hook up my Boat Anchor, 22 ft Car trailer (flat deck) all bets are off.
Usually I fill up in the 500 mile range.
I have the T-19 and 3:55 gears. Auto and 4:10 or so, IDK watchaget.
When I got rid of the FSV I was looking around for fittings to adapt the plastic lines together. Dorman has them and there are a lot of YT Vids on how to do the splicing. I wasn`t successful in doing it, so ended up pushing it in as far as I could into rubber hose. Probably got it in an inch or so, even sprayed sillycone (Brain not working this morning, can`t spell that stupid word, more coffee)
anyway, hose clamped it. It isn`t under pressure, supply or return.
Lot`s of people see this plastic hose and want to change it all out for rubber hose etc... thinking it is inferior. Mine worked fine for 30+ years till I started messing with it.
Ya know those nasty ole dirty 80K lb big rigs zoomin past you on the Hwy`s, all use plastic hoses (Air Lines) for their Braking system. They have 125 lbs (or so) air pressure in them.
