What pump is that?

Pump off a Caterpillar 3208. We have a 3208T Direct Injected in a fire truck and I adjusted the fuel in that thing and it goes now. Nice puff of smoke and then the turbo comes up and its a light haze. That thing would have no problem over fueling an IDI.

Ha. And it appears they're only 6-700 dollars. Are they dimensionnaly sound for the area available?

V8 versus i8, except in pump form haha. I thought about the cat pump, dont recall fuel rate though...

It looks much shorter than a p pump, may be the perfect remedy. And if it flows enough to fuel a 10.2 liter Cat, it'll probably be great for a 6.9 or 7.3

It's big, seems like its really deep, not sure our valley has enough depth to it.

Yup, the DB2 is a really cheap pump compaired to most non-rotary pumps.

Hey guys what about an inline 8 pump off of a 9.0 international? Could you mount one of those in the V of the block?

That is a huge pump as well unfortunately.
