Very nice. Bet you got some questions on the IDI and the ranger alike. It is amazing how many "diesel truck enthusiasts" don't have a clue that Ford made diesel trucks before the PSD.

Your numbers are really close to what my stock crew cab made at the TS Performance Dyno Day at the 2009 Rally. We'll see what the addition of a turbo will make for the on the dyno at this year's Rally.

I had a lot of people asking me "Is that one of them old 6.9's?" For the most part most of them thought it was cool that I had stuck with the old iron. I had a ton of people asking me if the ranger came factory with the diesel.

I had a similar experience last May at the TS Performance event. I was the only (and I mean only) IDI in a sea of thousands of Cummins, D-max, and PSD trucks.

Sounds like a really fun day thanks for sharing! Agreed the numbers look great too. I'll bet the ranger pulled harder on the dyno than my Toyota would :D

I'd love to see a dyno on a WMO conversion truck. Curious if the BTU output from the oil would increase power numbers by much.

up about 10 hp on WMO, i did just that at the kentucky meet a couple of years ago. the numbers were posted up somewhere here.

prety much the same numbers i got with mine pre turbo. but mine has original injectors and IP with 211000 on em. i got 123 hp and 254 ft lbs. after turbo i had 162 hp and 320 ft lbs.

so does anyone know what any of the "souped" up idi's run for hp and torque? like gary's or anyone like that? Just curious
