I'd like to know what pressure your IP is seeing, so after the filter would be what I guess I'm asking for. If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge, you can plump it in the filter header by pulling the vaccum switch for the fuel filter light. I run a fuel pressure gauge on both my IDI's after the filter to see what pressure the IP is getting in it's inlet. If your pressure is nonexistant or low, it could be starving for fuel at higher RPM.
