Well, I moved from my family up In Washington to be with my fiancé in South Carolina. I loaded up all my stuff in the bed of the truck and headed out. The trip went fantastic. We made excellent time, and the truck ran beautifully. We stopped off at a friend’s house in Omaha, and then visited my cousins down in Memphis. Surprisingly, we got great gas mileage also. We got anywhere from as little as 13 mpg, to as much as 18 mpg. We left Wednesday at 1 in the afternoon, and arrived here Saturday just before midnight.

It was nice to drive across the country. I got a little sick of Nebraska because the state just wouldn’t end but it was still nice looking. We went through the smoky mountains at the end of Tennessee and North Carolina at night so I didn’t get to see them, but it looked like it would have been a nice drive in the daylight.

Only one problem I noticed, when I don’t have much electrical draw, the battery light flashes, but if I turn on the vents, or the headlights the blinking stops. Does anybody know what could be going on?

I’ve now been here in Greenville almost a week and I like it. I’m finding my way around and am getting settled in.

The voltage regulator could do that.

Voltage regulator is on the fender, passenger side. Just disconnect the connector and clean the contacts and put it back together to see if that helps.

Where abouts in G'Ville are yah? You are only about 30 mins away! Pretty cool! Is this gonna be home for yah now? We've got a great International dealership right on the Sptbg/G'Ville line should you ever need anything there. Of course there is a big Ford Stealership right on the motor mile over there too. Usually do better at International. We've also got a couple small shops here and there too. Let me know if you ever need anything!
Be glad you didn't come just a week earlier you would have gotten to see what the humidity is like!! Now you'll have to wait till next summer!
Welcome to the South!! ;Sweet
