Well I am killing time in Barstow, CA this morning ....

Kinda funny considering I almost got killed here last August ....

Thought I would share a couple of the ' Kintucky Kustomisations '
that came with my 94' F350 Dually .....

Now I would have never thought of putting air registers in the hood
but they seem to work .... the ac condenser was removed so the
radiator has plenty of air and the vents might help pass the hot
air out .....

I notice a difference when I open them up ....


The ' IH ' logo was put where the front ' Ford ' badge
on the grill ... I'm gonna keep it there ....

I like the IH logo I might look for something similar myself. Who needs a scoop or ram air when you can carry spare parts for the camper without taking up much needed bed space.... The things people do...

On a serious note, how did you almost get killed in Barstow? Did it have anything to do with the Africa hot temps there?


On a not so serious note, I like the ih emblem but the heating and cooling registers are funny as hell, and just scream I live in a trailer.

Last August - I got rear ended doing legal speed limit of 55 m.p.h.
in the slow lane by a lady asleep at the wheel with the cruise control set
at 79 plus m.p.h. just east of Barstow on I-40 .....

No kidding, a 65 mph impact is nothing to snort at. Adrenaline helps people do all things, lol.

I travel that stretch of interstate 15 between Vegas and Barstow quite often and I can tell you it's one of the most dangerous highways Ive ever traveled.

Whats really scary is when I travel in my truck at 65 mph and everyone else wants to do 90, including the semis!

When I tried expanding, I think my truck got jealous and sabotaged her competition. I bought a 92 Chevy 1500 to have a smaller truck to put around in....blew the transmission before I ever had a chance to put the registration in my name

Now i'm a one truck guy.

No kidding funny thing is in town on the 15 I'll be doing the speed limit and half the time I'm passing every one like there standing still.
