Does this look like a limited slip diff?

Supposedly my truck has 4.10 LS in the rear...but when I had the diff cover off it didn't particularly look to me like it was.

That picture doesn't tell much, look behind the side gears, a limited slip will have clutch plates behind them, an open will not.

A friend of mine had a Hobart locker once upon a time. At first we were really excited to try it out, but we soon found that it really didn't have much more to offer than the Miller or Lincoln locker...

Nope, this is indeed a factory limited-slip - I got my lincoln locker laying in the garage and just looked at it, this in the pic is nothing like it but very much like what I remember putting in my axle a few months ago when I switched to LSD.

There is no clutches or springs just spider gears. I Stand by OPEN DIFF

i dont think its a clear enough pic to say either way. best thing to do is turn it to where you can get a real good shot of the spider gears.
