My Digital LCD odometer in my 93 F350 leaked the black liquid crystal causing the mileage readout difficult to read. I found a donor truck 93-96 (97) in a junk yard with the LCD odometer. Following is the procedure to swap a clear LCD for my old LCD.
**Mileage does not change**
**This is for a manual cluster but should be similar for an automatic**

Remove the instrument cluster from the dash and remove the clear lens and black trim surrounding the in gauges. There are 9 screws for the cover and black trim.

Pry up each gauge pod assembly. They are held in place pins that press into the white frame. The side gauge pods hold the speedometer pod in place.

Flip over the speedometer pod and remove the two screws holding the cluster light diverter bar (also holds the LCD in position). Twist the light diverter off the alignment pins and pull out of either side.

Remove the old LCD odometer and ribbon from the connector and replace with the LCD and ribbon (inserted complete) from the donor truck. Press the ribbon connector back down.
