That is high for a ball joint. Lately I have seen those go for around $800. I would either talk them way down or keep looking.

I'm still looking... I might have found a heck of a deal just down the street.;Sweet I'll end up with a D60, another CC (gasser), and TWO IDI motors. The same guy that had the two motors that I was looking at getting awhile back, has a '86 F350 CC 4x4 with a 351 (manual transmission). The truck has a D60 in it.:D He'll sell that whole truck (it runs and drives too) and throw in a "running":dunno 6.9 and a 7.3 that needs head gaskets for $1,100. Might come down some on the price for a partial trade of my labor on some of his vehicles. I'm expecting my tax return around the end of the month to be able to swing the deal (cash talks loud in the current economy). My plan is to put the D60 in my truck and hold onto my ttb50 as a "spare" just for an emergency backup. I'll take the IFS 44 out of the parts truck I have and put it in the gasser CC and sell it to recover some (if not all) of the cash that I'm out for the package deal. It's just a plan right now, but I'm trying to make it a goal.
