Goofyexponent
Mentally Unstable..
It's been almost a week since the D60 went under the front end of my truck. Overall, I LOVE how it handles, there are no noises, or any other issues anymore.
I decided to check the milage as well. I filled the truck up, drove 427 kilometers (265 miles) and then filled it again. It took 54 liters (14.26 gallons)
265 miles / 14.26 gallons = 18.58 MPG
for us Canucks, it works out to....
265 miles / 11.87 Imperial gallons = 22.32 miles per gallon.
This might seem like average, but the truck has had 4 tires, two of which are on wheels....and a COMPLETE 7.3 IDI in it for the WHOLE tank of fuel.
3640 KG's, or 8008 pounds
The IDI is getting taken out, and the wheels and tires are getting removed as well. I plan on doing another milage check with an empty bed, not this tank of fuel, but maybe the next tank.
I LOVE how this truck is on fuel, my old man's cummins can hardly hit 17 MPG (canuck MPG
)
