I was looking at a gauge chart. My local store at the time only had up to 2/0 welding cable and I wanted 3/0 to the starter. You can get 4/0 equivelant with 2x 2/0 run in parallel, so that is what I did. Not cranking problems. Just more cables to make and run

you beat me to it.
Doubling cables is a quick way to get things done.
