Cruise Control Question

I'm planning on swappin the 460/C6 in my 77' F-350 with a 6.9l/ZF-5. My trucks got factory Cruise control. If im not mistaken, the 6.9l cruise control is electronically controlled. Would i have to get rid of the cruise control? I think i would cause you cant have cruise control w/ a manual tranny.

Cc is not electronic. Its vacuum and cable controled

On my 6.9L's there is a speed sensor on the speedo cable clipped onto the C6 trans, then the speedo cable is hooked to that.. sort of a piggy back setup; and was that way when I purchased them.

Might be able to still swap. If you don't have that I don't see why it would be too hard to adapt it. If I recall correctly,my 75 F150 I had had cruise, and the cruise controller had a speed pickup in the middle of the speedo cable too. Might be worth looking into also. The '75 was the 390 with the C6.
