Cracked compression nut on fuel line

I got around to replacing my fuel return lines and glow plugs today. Apparently, somewhere in the process, I must have overtightened the fuel line on the rear passenger side. The compression nut is cracked, and I fear I stripped out the threads on top of the injector. When the truck is cranked up, it has a miss, and fuel is squirting out of that injector top.

Where can I find a new fuel line, or have one made up? Will I have to buy the whole set of 8?

Is my only option on the injector to replace it? If so, I guess all 8 need to be replaced?

You don't have to replace all 8 injectors. Just that damaged injector. Or you can remove it and clean up the threads. The nut is the hard part of this connection and they usually ruin the injector threads before they fail. But not in your case.... The lines or cylinders are numbered drivers side front to back.2.4.6.8 and passenger side 1.3.5.7. These numbers are cast into the intake manifold runners near the heads too. Hope this helps you along the way... If you have a leak as bad as you say that injector will never build enough pressure to fire so that cylinder is dead.

Whats the best place to source an injector? One of the dealer guys on here?

I will throw this in here, The line nuts will run down all the way by hand if they are lined up correctly.

Thats the truth too. Never force fit something unless its a designed press fit item. What line do you need. I have 5 or 6 complete sets and Midwest Injection sells individual lines for around $45.00 each. Ebay has several sets up for bids at this time. I just bought a new... Complete set with the 4 line clamps for 190.00 from Diesel Logic in Florida... Free shipping too... They are offering individual lines or complete sets for both trucks or vans. You want them to assemle the lines and clamps.... Its an additional $40.00..... This is what I say about that fee...
