For the past week or so I've been noticing that Oilburners.net has been maxing out my cpu, and thereby slowing my entire system. In my Windows Task Manager it flatlines at 100%, with only an occasional dip down to 95%.
The only things I can see which might be doing this are the animated ads and the Oilburners logo, the one with the dripping oil. Can these be changed to non-animated?
My system is old and slow at the best of times. It doesn't need anything holding it back.
Anyone care to comment or offer suggestions? BTW, a new system is not an option.
