The coolant does care what the engine burns for fuel...LOL.....Typical lawyer type BS so they can get off the hook if someone claims their coolant harmed their engine.

They only kinda said diesel coolant cant be used in gass engines then went on to elaberate to the efect that they don't recomend it because the coolants for diesl vs gas have diffrent preformance levels wich is a valid statement.

Shell says to top off the ELC with a comparable ELC and from the looks of it the other stuff would be compatible.

And shell states ouright to NOT dilute it's product by a factor of greater than 15%.

You might argue that the dealership might not know how much the Shell coolant is diluted by, but that's THEIR problem. IH says to only use SHELL to avoid such problems as this.

I am going to take a couple pictures today of the coolant sediment dropout in my buddy's coolant reservoir...as well as the other trucks with the same amount of dropout....it litterally looks like someone took a fist full of sand and put it in each truck's coolant degas bottle.
