Coolant leaking in my cab!!!HELP!

I recently bought a '94 F-250 XLT with the 7.3 IDI...

THis morning i arrived at work and saw some coolant on the floormat on the passenger side....what does this mean??? I saw some gasket material hanging down...do i need to just replace this gasket, or....

Any help would be appreciated

sounds like a heater core replacement...... dunno if you can change a gasket or not. you gotta find where its leaking from first to know what joint is leaking and if there is even a gasket there.

Your heater core is leaking. Only fix it to get in there, and replace the heater core.

The heater core for sure ,, this is an easy fix ,, or if its warm out you can just by - pass it for right now and take your time in changing it ,, i always unhook my heater core in the summer anyway so up to you on how you do it ..

Since the truck is new to you, you should just bite the bullet and replace all of the hoses and flush the coolant. A bare minimun would be all hoses, but if you can swing it you should do the belts, and give a look at the weep hole on the water pump. Since you will have it drained, now is the time to do the cooling system as a unit. When my Dodge started leaking from the rad and the heater core, I had the radiator rodded/repaired, new heater core, new water pump, new belt, and new hoses. It makes for piece of mind. Like I said though, do what you can afford.
