Coolant leak stumped

Also, check the heater hose that connects to the head. Ours is leaking, and it is running down the exhaust manifold to the bottom side of the manifold. Running along the bottom side of the manifold to the "collector" on the manifold and dripping off the collector and dripping on the large power wire to the starter and on the starter, then onto the ground from the starter........

I think I found mine I checked everything but found out it only leaks when the high idle kicks off. I resealed my t stat and checked it then saw that the head was wet. Pulled everything back off and you can see a run line coming down the block right from the corner of the head.

It can happen, it's just not that common. It was more common on some of the early 6.9's. I was told that it was the gaskets themselves. International changed gaskets and pretty well fixed the problem.

I never be noticed it leaking til I replaced my t stat. It never leaked on the ground but I can't find any other leaks. The old t stat was stuck open so the truck never got hot.
